A Note on Adjusting the Pace of My Article Updates
This year, because work has become increasingly busy and because my child is at a critical stage preparing for the senior high school entrance examination, which requires me to devote energy and time to accompanying him, I cannot spare too much energy and time to update articles. To avoid letting article updates become a mere formality and affecting the quality of my writing, I need to adjust the pace at which I publish articles. From now on, articles will be updated irregularly. I will do my best to write more high-quality articles for my readers, and I hope readers will understand.
As time permits, I will try my best to meet the needs of long-term readers and keep working on articles, but I can no longer guarantee the pace of one article per day. Moreover, during the past period of updating one article a day, I sometimes had to write in haste, and the quality was obviously poor; this was not what I wanted either.
Since I began studying medicine and engaging in clinical practice, I have felt anxious every day, deeply afraid of failing to live up to the expectations of my patients, the new patients they refer, and the patients' families. I also increasingly feel that my knowledge is insufficient and that I still need continuous, in-depth study in order to solve patients' problems and relieve the pressure I bear. So from now on I will also set aside more time to continue studying Chinese and Western medicine and to provide higher-quality service to patients. Serving patients will be my primary focus, and writing articles secondary.
The relationship between most patients and their families and me is that of companions and friends. Over these years I am very grateful to everyone for their trust and company. I feel gratified to have been able to help some patients extend their lives and improve their quality of life. But because of the limits of my ability, there are still many patients who did not improve under my help, or even worsened. To those patients I was unable to help, I offer my deepest apology. That some patients who deeply trusted me did not achieve the expected therapeutic effect always makes me feel deeply ashamed and remorseful. Here I bow to apologize to everyone, and I hope that with the help of more skilled doctors you will recover as soon as possible!
Thank you all for your long-standing understanding and support! I wish everyone all the best and may everything go your way!
