This Round of Influenza A Is Wind-Heat Common Cold; Treat with Acrid-Cool Exterior Releasing

Recently influenza A has been prevalent, especially in schools and kindergartens; my son also caught it. Because for the previous three years everyone strictly followed epidemic prevention, influenza had not spread so widely in our country for a long time, leading to reduced population immunity to influenza. So during this influenza A outbreak, people are more easily infected, and the symptoms after infection are more severe.
After this influenza A infection, patients mostly present with typical symptoms of body pain, fever, cough and dry mouth, without marked aversion to cold, and most patients have aversion to heat. Therefore this round of influenza A belongs to wind-heat common cold, which traditional TCM considers a Taiyin warm disease. It can be treated with heat-clearing and detoxifying TCM formulas or patent medicines such as Maxing Shigan Tang, Yinqiao San, Siji Ganmao Keli (Four-Season Cold Granules) and Lianhua Qingwen. Our child was cured with this kind of heat-clearing, detoxifying medicine.
